For this reason, we’re thrilled to share that our staff was awarded the 2021 “Top Injured Workers Legal Staff Advocacy Award” by the Workers’ Injury Law & Advocacy Group (WILG). This award is given to professional legal staff members who demonstrate excellence in advocating the rights of injured workers on a national level.
WILG is a national non-profit organization of legal professionals “dedicated to representing the interests of millions of workers and their families suffering from work-related injuries or occupational illnesses.” WILG also aims to equip attorneys and non-profit groups with vital information to provide better legal assistance, quality medical care and other recovery efforts for injured workers and their families.
Murphy Law Firm has been an active WILG member for years, and our attorneys serve on the Board of the Directors. Our team has also received numerous prior awards from this prestigious organization. Tom Murphy received the coveted President’s Award in 2021 at their national convention in Palm Beach, Florida for the second year. He also won this award in 2019.
