We’re thrilled to announce that the Montana Trial Lawyers Association (MTLA) recently presented attorney Matthew Murphy with its Outstanding New Lawyer Award at its 2018-2019 annual convention.
Congratulations to Matt, and to all of the other MTLA award recipients!
About Matt Murphy
Partner and shareholder at Murphy Law Firm, Matt’s commitment to hard work and enthusiasm are seen in many areas of practice, including workers’ compensation, personal injury, wrongful death, auto accidents, and more.
In 2009, Matt completed his undergraduate degree in political science at the University of Montana and earned his Juris Doctor in May 2012. But he has been a familiar face to the firm since the age of 12, when his father, Thomas Murphy, founded Murphy Law Firm.
Matt lives in Great Falls, Montana with his wife, Emily, where they plan to raise a family and enjoy all that the “last best place” has to offer.
In addition to the Montana Trial Lawyers Association, Matt is an active member of the Cascade County Bar Association, the Montana State Bar, the American Bar Association, and the Workers’ Injury Law & Advocacy Group.
About the Montana Trial Lawyers Association
MTLA is a member organization for Montana attorneys dedicated to justly representing those who have been injured, accused, and whose rights are in jeopardy.
The core of their mission is to “uphold the constitutions of Montana and the United States and the honor of the profession, train in advocacy, and promote the administration of the public good.”
Matt’s professional excellence in trial practice and service to MTLA and Montana’s citizens are the qualities that earned him this award.
Murphy Law Firm is very proud to have Matt as a partner and we offer him many hearty congratulations on this outstanding achievement.
