Education & Experience
Thomas (Tommy) M. Murphy joined Murphy Law Firm in 2014 as an Associate Attorney. He represents clients in the areas of workers’ compensation, unsafe workplace, personal injury, wrongful death, and Social Security disability law.
Tommy grew up in Great Falls and graduated from CM Russell High School. He received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Montana in 2010, and his law degree from the University of Montana School of Law in May of 2014. During law school, he interned at a well-respected law firm in Missoula helping injured workers with their workers’ compensation claims.
I got into law because my passion was helping people. As an attorney for Murphy Law Firm, I’m able to do just that by assisting people and their families during difficult times.
Professional Associations & Qualifications
Tommy is admitted to practice in all Montana Courts and the U.S. District Court. He is a member of the Cascade County Bar, Montana State Bar, American Bar Association, Montana Trial Lawyers Association, and the Workers’ Injury Law & Advocacy Group.
Personal
Tommy’s passion outside of law is the outdoors. When he’s not in the office, he spends most of his time on the river fly fishing. He is also a Council Member for the local Big Brothers Big Sisters of America chapter, and is an active member in the Great Falls community — a place he’s proud to call home.
