“I lost my husband Gary in November 2021 due to Covid-19 complications 3 weeks after he tested positive at work. I thought there was no way I would receive workers’ comp benefits due to the cause of my husband’s death. I reached out to Murphy Law Firm in March 2022 on their website after reading their reviews. Within a week after reaching out to the law firm, I was in Great Falls meeting with Tommy and Bailey to discuss filing for benefits.
The worker’s comp claims process started on March 25th, and on May 5th, the 2 claims were approved by Montana State Fund. My law firm team was able to “force” Montana State Fund to approve the claims within a short period of time. They not only fought and stood up for me, but for my husband also. Going up against my husband’s employer, the county health department and MT State Fund especially when it came to a Covid-19 death and helping me by holding my hand with compassion, sympathy and kindness is absolutely amazing.
When it came to getting a lump sum settlement, Tommy did an outstanding job especially since MT State Fund was being difficult. Murphy Law Firm was there for me when I needed a wonderful law firm to fight for me and my late husband. “I have heard horror stories about workmans Comp claims and obtaining a lawyer. One story in particular was a friend that hired a lawyer that was, what I consider, incompetent. It took almost 2 years to settle the case and he ended up getting no more than if he had settled it himself, but the lawyer took his fees from it.
